4、ndexams.Quizzeswillbegiveninclassalmosteveryweekduringthesemesterandwillbeshort(15minutesmaximum).Theywillcoverinformationpresentedinlecturesofthepreviousweek,homeworkproblems,orintheassignedreadings.Yourlowestquizgradeofthesemesterwillbedropped.Themidtermexamwillcoverallofthe
5、materialuptoOctober13th,includingmaterialpresentedinlabdemonstrations,homeworkproblems,andlecturehandouts(2-3hours).Thepapershouldbe8-10pagesinlength(notincludingfigures)andcoveratopicthathasbeenapprovedbyDr.MathiowitznolaterthanNovember2nd.TheduedateforthepaperisDecember7th.P
6、apersturnedinbeforeNovember23rdwillbereadearlybyDr.Mathiowitz,Theircommentsshouldbeaddressedinyourfinaldraft.Studentswillpresenttheirpapertopicduringanoralpresentationonthedateslistedabove.Pleaseprepareabrief,inclusivesummarylasting10-15minutes.2-5minuteswillbeallowedforquesti
