2、g)Ltd.(“FCP”)formedrecentlytospecificallyaddressthecurrentconcernswithSARS.TheplanaimstosetforthprecautionarymeasuresandcontingencyplansforFCP’semployees,customersandsuppliers.CURRENTSITUATIONINHONGKONGPleaseseeAppendixAforoverallsituationasofMay31,2003andthehistoricalbackgr
3、oundofSARSinHongKong(Source:TheDepartmentofHealth,HKSAR).OVERVIEWSincetheSARSoutbreakinHongKong,FCPisamongoneoftheearliestcompaniestosetupprecautionarymeasuresinpreventingthespreadofSARS.NoemployeesatFCPhavebeeninfectedbySARStodate.PRECAUTIONARYMEASURESGiventhefactthatquitea
4、fewofFCP’sworkersliveinTaiPo,whichisconsideredoneofthehigh-riskresidentialareasinHongKong,FCPimmediatelyputinplacestringentmeasuresinMarchcurbingthespreadofSARS.TheSARSsituationreceivesutmostattentionfromFCP’stopmanagement.Mr.F.C.Lo,ChairmanandCEOchairsmostofthespecialtaskfo
