2、amquality.Thermaleffecthasalwaysplayedanimportantroleinthedesignofsolidstatelasers,especiallyinhighpowerconfiguration.InChapter2,anclearanalysisofthethermaleffectinsidepumpedrod-typeNd:YAGcrystalisprovided.Greatattentionispaidtothermalinducedsphericalaberrationeffectanditsinfluencing
3、factor,itsinfluencetolasersandlaseramplifiers.InordertocompensateforthepositivesphericalaberrationinNd:YAGcrystal,asphericallensorphaseconjugatemirrorsWaSusedtoinduceanegativesphericalaberration.However,thesecomponentsarecomplicateindesignaswellashighly—costinmanufacture.Inchapter3,a
