5、hatstandsinstarkcontrasttotheperspectivedevelopedinaneconomicsclass.Asallgoodteachersmustdo,weintendtochallengeyouinthiscoursetorethinkyourviewsontheeconomyandthewayfirmsoperate.Wewillaskyoutodevelopnewmethodsofanalysis,maintainingallthewhilethatthereis,indeed,an
6、“economicwayofthinking”thatdeservesmastering.Wewillalsoaskyoutoreconsider,inlightofthenewmethodsofthinking,oldpolicyissues,bothinsideandoutsidethefirm,aboutwhichyoumayhavefixedviews.Thesetaskswillnotalwaysbeeasyforyou,butweareconvincedthattherewardsfromthestudyah
