2、ointedrockinstability．Mechanismindynamicloadingcondition，however，isstillnotclearthoughsomestudieshavebeenconductedinthepastfortyyears，causingthatfull—scaleinvestigationonjointedrockengineeringstabilityunderdynamicconditionhasnotbeencarriedout．Inthispaper，dynamicmechanicalpropertyandmes

3、o—mechanismofiointedrockundersheafingarestudiedwiththecombinationofindoortest，theoreticalanalysisandnumericalsimulation．Thestudymainlyinvolvesthefollowingfouraspects：(1)Onthebasisofpreviousstudiesonthequantitativedescriptionforrockjointmorphology，applicabilityofregressionequationsbetwe

4、enJointRoughnessCoefficients(JRC)andRootMeanSquare(RMS)isdiscussedfirstlyusingstandardjointprofilesproposedbyBarton．Ontheotherhand，averageJRCischosentoquantifyjointmorphologyinthispaper．AndVisualBasislanguageisusedtocoderealizingtheavemgeJRCcalculationforroughrockjoint．(2)Theshearratea
