2、nthisthesisisaportionintheprojectsfromtheStateKeyLaboratoryofMechanicalTransmissionofChongqingUniversity,titled“Studyonmechanicaltransmissionperformanceundertypicalworkingconditions”and“Typicaltransmissioncontactfailureandbasisofmaterialchange.”Explorationofthelatestac
3、complishmentsinelastohydrodynamiclubrication(EHL)researchandthefrontierofrelatedfieldssuggesttheproperlubricationmodelingofline-contactgears,suchasspurgears,shouldconsidertherealsurfacetopographyfrommachining,Theresearchaimstodevelopathree-dimensional(3D)transientline-
4、contactEHLmodelofspurgearsforin-depthunderstandingofgearlubricationandsupportingdesignofgearswithlongservicelife.First,asmooth-surfacepoint-contactEHLmodelisstudied,andtheinfluencesofloadandentrainingspeedoncontactpressure,filmthicknessandothertribologicalparametersare
5、analyzed.Theresultsshowthehorseshoefeatureinthefilmthicknesscontourandthespikeinthepressuredistribution.Thetotalloadandentrainingspeedhavenotableinfluencesonfluidpressure,filmthicknessandfrictioncoefficient.Secondly,thebasiccharacteristicsof3Dtransientline-contactEHLmo
6、delareexploredandtheinfluencesofentrainingspeed,surfacestopographyandroughnessorientationarestudied.Theresultsshowthatthe3Dtransientline-contactmodelcansuccessfullydealwithdifferentsurfacesinlubricationproblems,suchasthoseofsmoothsurface,sinusoidalsurface,andrealmachin
7、edengineeringsurfaces.Entrainingspeedandroughnessorientationgreatlyaffectthefilmthickness.Then,anovel3Dtransientline-contactEHLmodelforinvolutespurgearsisbuiltbasedontheabove3Dline-contactEHLmodel.Thismodelenablestheanalysesofcontactpressureandfilmthicknessalongtheline
