1、AbstractTheexistingsinglechannelsignalhasnotbeenabletomeettheneedsofmoderncommunicationanditisreplacedbydualchannelsignalgraduallybecauseoftherapiddevelopmentofwirelesscommunicationsysteminrecentyears.AsthemaindeviceoftheRF(radiofrequency)communicationsystem,filteralsoneedtobecomeintothedualband
2、-passfilter.Aimattherequest,thedualband-passfiltersarestudiedinthispaperandmainlybasedonembeddedstructure.Comparedwiththetraditionalseries-parallelfilters,couplingmatrixsynthesisandtwo-moderesonancemethod,theembeddedfiltersbringtheconveniencetodesignbecausetheyhavetheadvantagesofsmallsize,simple
3、design,don’thavetoconsiderthecouplingcoefficientbetweenthetwobandpassandsoon.ThefirstfilterinthispaperisbasedonahalfwavelengthofSIR(SteppedImpedanceResonators)structure.Firstly,thetwopairsofCSIRaredesignedandcontroldifferentcenterfrequencyofthetwofiltersrespectively.Secondly,thedualband-passfilt
4、erappliedtoWLANisrealizedbyembeddingthesmallersizeSIRwhichcontrolthehighfrequencyoffilterintothebiggersizeSIRwhichcontrolthelowfrequencyoffilter.Abroadbandembeddeddual-bandfilterisdesignedandsimulatedinchapterfive.Themainsolutionisletthecouplingelementsofbandpassfilterisloadedwiththebandstopelem
