2、prehensivelyapplythebasictheories,knowledgeandskillsinrespectivemajors,(2)tohelpstudentsdeveloptheirabilitiesinindependentresearch,analysisandproblemsolving.Thegraduationthesisshouldbeanimportantreferenceinevaluatingthewidthanddepthofthestudents’knowledge,aswellasacriter
3、ioningrantingthebachelor’sdegrees.Therequirementsofgraduationthesisshouldinclude:(1)positiveandseriousattitudeforindependentresearch,(2)theoreticalresearchwithimplicationtoreality,(3)writingstylesthatareclear,concise,smoothandlogical,and(4)noactsofplagiarism.2.TheScopeof
4、TopicsThetopicsofgraduationthesismustbewithinthescopeofrespectivemajors,reflectingthelatestdevelopmentintheoryorapplication.Topicsshouldentailadequateamountofresearchforthestudents.Fordetailsinchoosingtopic,pleasereferto“JinanUniversityGuidelinesforThesisorDesignbyUnderg
5、raduateStudents.”(AvailableatthewebsiteofAcademicAffairsDepartment)3.StructureofThesisAgraduationthesisshouldinclude:title,declaration,abstractandkeywords,tableofcontent,text,acknowledgement,appendixandreferences.1)Thetitleofthethesisshouldbeprecise,clear,andadequateinre
6、flectingthescopeofresearch,avoidingabbreviations.2)Aconciseabstractshouldbrieflystatethepurposeoftheresearchandthemainresults.Anabstractisoftenpresentedseparatefromthearticle,soitmustbeabletostandalone.Theabstractshouldbeabout150wordswith3-8keywords.3)Themaintextshouldbe
7、themostimportantpartofathesis,withclearlystatedviewpoints,data,andanalysis.ItshouldbewritteninformalEnglish,with5000words.4)Formatofthethesisincludesthefollowingdetails(1)ThethesisshouldbewordprocessedusingsoftwaresuchasMicrosoftWord.ItshouldbeformattedonA4sizepaper,one-
