3、olandthedevice.IncontrasttotheICPmethod,in-applicationprogramming(IAP)canuseanycommunicationinterfacesupportedbythemicrocontroller(I/Os,SPI,USART,I2C,USB,CAN...).IAPhasbeenimplementedforuserswhowanttheirapplicationsoftwaretoupdateitselfbyre-programmingtheFlashprogrammemoryduringprogramexecution.The

4、mainadvantageofIAPisitsabilitytore-programFlashprogrammemoryanddataEEPROMwhenthechiphasalreadybeensolderedontheapplicationboardandwhiletheusersoftwareisrunning.Nevertheless,partoftheFlashprogrammemoryhastobepreviouslyprogrammedusingICP.SomedevicesalsocontainabootloaderembeddedinaROMmemory.Throughth
