2、eeffectivelyreflectregionallandformfeature.Previousresearchusing‘CatchmentBoundaryProfileSpectrum’tostudythecharacteroflandform.Ratherthanfocusingonthelocaltopographiccharacters,themethodtakethecatchmentstructureintoaccount,therefore,itcanreflectthelandformfeatureinmacro.scale.Threemainkinds

3、offeatureline,catchmentboundaryline,Loessshoulderline,andvalleyline,existwidelyontheLoessPlateau,China.Theytitleusedtorespectivelydepictinter-gullyareageomorphy,dividedlineofinter-gullyareaandslope—gullyarea,andbottom—gullyareageomorphy.Theinterrelationshipbetweenthesethreefeaturelinescallre

4、flecttheinnercharacteristicsofthecatchment.1iketopographicfeature,erosionfeature,andevolutionfeature.However,previousresearchworksmerelyonusingcatchmentboundaryline,namedCatchmentBoundaryProfileSpectrum(CBPS),todepictmacrocharacteristicsofloesslandformanditsspatialdistributionpattern.Littlea

5、ttentionispaidonthesyntagmaticrelationofdifferentfeaturelines,anditsroleonterrainanalysis.TheobjectiveofthisresearchistoinvestigatehowtOdealthesethreefeatureline,catchmentboundary,Loessshoulderline,andvalleyline,asawhole,namedCatchmentProfileSpectrum(CPS),andthenuseittofurtherstudythedrainag
