1、AbstractAbstractCooperativecommunicationtechnologyisproposedtotaketheadvantageofmulti-antennasconsideringthesizeandpowerlimitationofthemobileunits.Distributedspacetimecoding,thecombinationofspacetimecodingandvirtualMIMOsystemsconsistingofmultiplesingle-antennamobilenodes,has
2、attractedmanyattentionsofresearchersduetoitstransmissionperformanceimprovementandthespatialdiversitygain.Weinvestigatetheresourceallocationtechnologyforcooperativecommunicationsystemwithamplifyandforwarddistributedspace-timecoding(AF-DSTC).Specifically,powerallocation,relays
3、electionandantennaselectionareinvestigated.Maincontributionsofthisthesisare:1)ASER-minimizationbasedpowerallocationalgorithmisproposedunderthepowerconstraint.Moreover,theclosed-formsolutionoftheoptimaltwo-stagepowerallocationisderived.Simulationresultsshowthattheperformancec
4、anbeimprovedgreatlywhentherelayisclosetoresourcenodeordestinationnode.2)Weproposearelayselectionalgorithmbasedontheoptimalrelaydistance,inordertoovercomethelowtransmissionefficiencyinreal-timerelayselectionschemesandthehighcomputationalcomplexityintraditionalfixedrelayselect
5、ionschemes.Theproposedalgorithmcanreducethecomplexityoftherelayselection.3)Thetransmitterantennaselectionalgorithmsareproposedforsingleanddoublerelaysystem,respectively.Thetheoreticalanalysesorthediversityorderofthesinglerelaysystemandthebiterrorrateofthedoublerelaysystemare
