4、hatsuccinctlycharacterizethememoryerate(ormask)potentiallylongmemorylatencies,lestitsufferse-accesspatternofbothregulararray-basedapplicationsandirregu-vereperformancedegradationastheprocessorstallsandawaitsthelarpointer-intensiveprograms.Weillustratehowprogramembed-deliveryofdatafrommemory.Thep

5、erformanceimplicationsarededprecomputationviaspeculativeexecutioncanaccuratelypre-exacerbatedwhenapplicationsmakeextensiveuseofdynamicallydictandeffectivelyprefetchfuturememoryreferenceswithnegli-allocatedobjectswhichcomplicatetheanalysisoftheapplicationgibleoverhead.Theproposedtechniquesreducet

6、hetotalrunningreferencepatternandofteninhibitthedevelopmentofstatictech-timeofsevenSPECbenchmarksandtwoOLDENbenchmarksbyniquesformaskinglongmemoryaccesslatencies.27%onanItanium2processor.TheimprovementsareinadditionInthispaper,weproposeandevaluateacompilertechniquetotoseveralstate-of-the-artopti
