3、G)structure,weachievestop-bandat6.8GHz-7.9GHz,whichissuitableforrestrainingX—bandsatellitecommunication.ButtheEBGsizeisalittlebigcomparedwithcompactantenna,whichCancauseneedlessresonantfrequenciestoaffecttheband—notchedaccuracy.Sothisband-rejectedwaydoesn’tapplyincompactUWBantenna.Thenmultipleappr
4、oacheslikeslotting,addingmatchingstubandloadingSteppedImpedanceResonator(SIR)isusedtoobtainband—stoppingcharacteristics,finanythreeband-notchedcharacteristics(2.75GHz一3.55GHz,3.75GHz-4.27GHzand7.18GHz-8.35GHz)Canbeachieved.ThisantennacanbeusedinUWBcommunicationsystemthatmustrejectWiMAX,C/X—bandsat
5、elliteandEESScommunicationsystems.Thereafter,wedesignsmallUWB-MIMOantennawithhighisolation.AhexagonalUWBantennaelementisfirstlyproposed,thisantennaisverysuitableastheunitofMIMOantennasonaccountofitsadvantagesofeasyandcompactstructure.ThenaMIMOantennawithultra-widebandconsistsoftwodesignedantennael
6、ementsplacedside-to-side.Inordertoimproveisolation,anadditionalcross-shapedstubwhichhasbettertunableeffectcomparedtorectangularstubisloadedonthecenterlineofthegroundplane.Byoptimizingthisantenna,acompactsize32mmx32111111isachieved,meanwhileimpedancebandwidthCancover2.6GHz一13GHzandinthebandportisol
