3、age.However,someresearchesindicatethatevenintheelasticstage,thedampingratiohasthepropertiesofnonlinearity.Therefore,it’sbecomingmoreandmoreimportanttodecidethedampingratioaccuratelyandreasonablyandtoexplorethevariationofthestructuraldampingforthetheoreticalvalueandengineeringsignificance.Inthi
4、sstudy,inordertoexplorethedampingcharacteristicsintheelasticstage,arelativelyuniformandsimplesteelcantileverbeamelementisusedasthetestobject.Andthefreevibrationtestofthecantileverbeamiscarriedouttoinvestigatethevariationofthedampingratio.Accordingtothecurrentactualconditions,firstofall,thesame
5、eightcantileverbeamswithrectangularcross-sectionhavebeendesignedandmanufactured(calculationlengthis1m,crosssectionsizeis30mm×8mm).Secondly,themetallicmaterialstensiletestofthecantileverbeamatambienttemperatureiscarriedout.Whichisbasedonthenationalstandard《MetallicmaterialsTensiletesting》(GB/T2
6、28.1-2010).Andtheelasticmodulusandtensilestrengthofthecantileverbeamisobtained.Thirdly,basedontheexperimentalresultsofmaterialtestthecantileverbeamfreevibrationtestschemeisdesigned.Thenthevibrationtestunderdifferentinitialconditionsiscarriedout.Thedampingperformancetestisconductedbythefreedamp
