2、.However,theUHVtransmissionlinesneedtolinecorridorwider,butalsobythegeographicalconditionsandenvironmentprotectionlimits.ComparedwiththetraditionalUHVdouble-circuittransmissionsystem,UHVsixphasetransmissionsystemhastheadvantageofhighpowertransmissiondensity,narrowlinecorridoroccupancyandlo
3、wgeneralconstructioncosts,sotheapplicationofthesix-phasetransmissiontechnologytoUHVtransmissionwillbeagoodchoice.Inthispaper,themaintechnicalfeaturesandcharacteristicsareanalyzedanddiscussedindetail,providingatheoreticalbasisfortheeconomy,feasibilityandfurtherstudyofUHVsix-phasetransmissio
4、nsystem.ThispapertaketheHuainan-Shanghaidouble-circuittransmissionlineasareference.Thenthetypicalsizeoftowerisdesignedandthebundleconductortypeaswellasinsulatorlengthisselectedforthesix-phasetransmissionsystem.Basedonthis,theelectricalparametersofUHVsixphasetransmissionlineswerecalculated,
5、andthedistributedparameterequivalentcircuitmodelareestablished.Then,thepowertransmissioncharacteristics,unbalancedegree,themaximumconductorsurfaceelectricfieldintensityandthespaceelectricfielddistributionabovethegroundarecalculated.Comparisonandanalysisonthecalculationresultsforsix-phasetr
6、ansmissionlineandthosefordouble-circuittransmissionlinewithcorrespondingvoltagelevelsareperformed.AnalysisresultsshowthatUHVsix-phasetransmissionlineshavehigherpowertransmissiondensity,alsotheunbalancedegree,theconductorsurfaceelectricfieldandthespaceelectricfieldofsix-phasetransmissionlin
