2、esonthedesignparametersandthegeometricnonlinearityofthearch-towercable—stayedbridge.Systematicalresearchiscarriedoutbyusingtheparameteranalysisandthefiniteelementmethodtoinvestigatetheinfluenceofthemainstructuraldesignparameters,suchastheratiobetweenth
3、eheightoftowerandthelengthofmainspan,thelengthofunsupporteddeckadjacenttotheendofmainspan,thelengthofunsupporteddeckadjacenttopylonandthestiffnessratiobetweengirderandpylon,onstructuraldisplacement,internalforceandtensionofcables,whenthebridgeisunderli
4、veload.Finally,theeffectsofgeometricnonlinearityonstructuralstaticbehaviorofarch·-towercable.-stayedbridgeunderthefirststageofdeadload,thesecondstageofdeadloadandliveloadrespectivelyareexamined.M1resultscanbereferencestothedesignofthesametypebridge.Int
5、histhesisthemainconclusionsareshowedinthefollowing:1.Parameteranalysisshowsthatwiththeincreaseoftheratiobetweentheheightoftowerandthelengthofmainspan,themomentsanddisplacementsofthekeysectionsofthemaingirderandpylonandthemaximumtensionofcablesexperienc
6、eagradualdecreasingtrend,howevertheabsolutevalueofnegativereactionofside—spansupportincreasetremendously.Also,withtheraiseofthelengthofunsupporteddeckadjacenttotheendofmainspan,themomentsofthemaingirderandpylondecreaseprogressively,butthemaximumdeflect
