5、eguideslotantennaequivalentcircuit,howtoobtaintheequivalentconductanceformulasandhowtodesignthewaveguideslotarrayantenna.Thenthepolarizationcharacteristicsoftheantennaarepresented.Underguidanceoftheabovetheories,fivewaveguideslotelementsaredesignedwhichhavebothci
6、rcularlypolarizedradiationandgoodaxialratiocharacteristics.Andforthefeasibilityfortheseelementstoworkasanantennaarray,twoofthewaveguideslotmodularformsarechosentorealizeabroadsidecircularlypolarizedwaveguideslotarraywith98elements.Accordingtothesimulationresults,
7、theaxialratiobandwidthfortheantennaarraywithdipole-circularpolarizerisnarrow,lessthan50MHz.Whiletheaxialratiofortheantennaarraywithwaveguide-circularpolarizerislessthan2.5dBfrom9GHzto9.5GHz.,themainbeamwidthislessthan1.6°andthesidelobeislessthan-25dBwhichmeetther
