2、tofhighspeedwirerodrollingproductiontechnologyisverynecessary.Thecoolingcontroltechnologyofhighspeedwirerod,thekeytechnologyaffectingtheorganizationperformanceofwireproducts,istheimportantdevelopmentdirectionofhighspeedwirerodrollingtechnologyinthefuture.Sincewaterflowresist
3、anceandheattransfercharacteristicsofnozzleisthekeyfactortocontrolthecoolingcapacityofthewholecoolingsystem,thestudyonwaterflowresistanceandheattransfercharacteristicsofspraynozzlehasasignificanteffectonthetheindependentdesignanddevelopmentofhighspeedwirerodrollingtechnology.
4、CurrentlytheStelmorcoolinglineismostwidelyusedintheworld,whosecriticalcomponentsofthewatercoolingsectioniswater-coolednozzle.Therefore,thisthesisfocustheresearchonthenozzleinnerresistanceandheattransfercharacteristicsofwater-coolednozzle.Throughthepreliminaryanalysis,notonly
5、therateofflowofcoolingwateraffectswaterresistanceandheattransfercharacteristicsbutalsothediameterofthewireandspeedofwirerodthroughthewater-coolednozzlehaveaneffectonthem.Inthepresentstudy,theeffectsofvariousfactorsontheresistanceandheattransferpropertiesofthenozzlearefoundus
6、ingnumericalsimulation.Thephysicalmodeloftheflowareainthewater-coolednozzleatdifferentcasesisconstructedusingGAMBITsoftware.Then,numericalcomputingiscarriedoutusingFLUENTsolver.Abundantofdataofwaterresistanceandheattransferinthewater-coolednozzleatdifferentcasesisobtainedthr
7、oughaseriesofnumericalsimulation.Theeffectsoftherateofflow,thevelocityanddiameteroftherodonthewaterresistanceandheattransfercharacteristicsofthenozzlearerevealed.Basedonthesolutionresults,thewaterresistanceandheattransfercorrelationhavebeenproposedaccordingtothemultiplelinea
