2、reforemanycountriesespeciallydevelopedoneshavemadesignificantbreakthroughsinthefieldofwindpowergeneration.Single-machinecapacityofWTGhasbeendevelopedfromtensofkilowattstomegawatts.Thecontroltechnologyofwindpowergenerationanditsfrequencyconversiontechnologyasthekeyt

3、echniqueofwindpowergenerationhavebecomeanimportanttopicofnewenergyresearch.Amultilevelmatrixconverterappliedforthewindpowergenerationsystemisstudiedinthispaper,soastoobtainthegoodcontrolperformanceofvariablespeedconstantfrequencyandimprovementsofpowerquality.Thecom

4、binationoftraditionalwindpowergenerationtechnologywiththemultilevelmatrixconverter(MMC)isconsistedofanewhighefficientwindpowergenerationsystembasedontheutilizationoftheadvantagesbetweenmatrixconverterandmulti-levelinverter,whichnotonlyraisesutilizationrateofthewind

5、energy,butalsoreducestheharmoniccontentoftheoutputpowerandgreatlyimprovesthepowerqualitydeliveredtotheusersbywindpowergenerationsystem.Themainresearchcontentsoftheprojectincludeasfollows.Firstly,thesignificanceoftheproject,thecurrentsituation,thedevelopmenttrendofw

6、indpowergenerationtechnology,andtheresearchof3kindsoftypicalmatrixconvertersisdescribedinthispaper.Thenthemathematicalmodelandequivalentcircuitofthepermanentmagnetsynchronousgeneratorarededuced，andthethreemostcommonlyusedwindpowertrackingalgorithmsofVSCFwindpowerge
