2、hiningprocessandthemechanism,whichmakestheresearchworksignificant.Becauseofcarbonfibercompositematerial’sultra-hardness,traditionalprocessingmethodcannotsatisfytherequirementsofelaborateprocessing.Thispapertaketheadvantageofshortpulselaserinspecialprocessing,researchthecarbonfi
3、bercompositematerialmachiningprocessbasedonshortpulselaser,includingefficientprocessingconditionsandinteractionmechanism.Thispaperexplorestheeffectoflaserwithdifferentpulsewidthonsuperhardmaterialsprocessing,includingfemtosecondpulselaser,nanosecondpulselaserandcontinuouslaser.
4、Inthemethodofpunchingcarbonfibercompositematerialwhichitsthickis3.5mm,comparedthehold’morphologyandtheprocessingefficiency.Resultsshows:theholdwhichthefemtosecondpulselaserprocessedhaslittlethermaleffectandtherelativityofdiameteranddepthissmall.Theholdwhichthenanosecondpulselas
5、erprocessedhasalargethermaleffectarea.Thecontinuouslaserhasgreaterthermaleffectonprocessing.Itisclearlythatitremovingmaterialbymeltingit.Bytheoreticalanalysis,thecontinuouslaserablationthresholdofcarbonfibercompositematerialis421.0×10J/cm,consistentwithexperimentalresults.Atthe
6、sametime,analysisofthenanosecondpulselaserandthefemtosecondpulselaserthresholdofcarbonfibercompositematerial.Mainlydependonthesizeoftheablationareaunderdifferentsinglepulseenergyisdifferent,accordingtotheablationareadiameterthecarbonfibermaterialthresholdcanbecalculated.Thefemt
7、osecondpulselaserthresholdofcarbon2fiberis0.50±0.05J/cm,whichpulsewidthis40fs.Thenanosecondpulselaserthreshold2ofcarbonfiberis4.1±0.5J/cm,whichpulsewidthis40ns.Theresultsshowthatshortpulselaserhashighenergyutilizationrateandgoodmorphology.Throughcontrastexperiment,researchtheef
