2、disconnection,damagedfittings,phaseshortcircuit,brokenrods,downrodsandotheraccidents,thuscreatingaseriousthreattothesafetyofthepowersystem.Inearly2008,centralandeasternChinasufferedasnowdisasterrareinhistoryandthetransmissionlinesinmanyplaceshadavaryingde
3、greeofgalloping,seriouslyaffectingthesafetyandreliabilityofthepowernetwork.Withtheglobalenvironmentandclimatechanging,theissueoftransmissionlinegallopingisbecomingmoreandmoreprominent.Inlate2009toearly2010,morethan600linesinChinaoccurreddancing.Therefore,
4、areal-timeaccesstogallopingsituationisverynecessary.Thestaticresponseoftheconductorisbasisfortransmissionlineoperatingstatejudgmentandanddancinganalysis.Basedonthestaticequilibriumfiniteelementtransmissionlineequations,barewires,wiresbyconcentratedloads(e
5、quippedwithanti-dancingdeviceorspacer),icedconductors,wiresstaticwindloadwereanalyzedbymechanics,thenitobtainedeachstaticequilibriumconfigurationandtensionsituation.Astensionspanandcrossingspanbothconsidered,itcanbeusedtoanalyzethemulti-spancontinuousover
6、headwires.Currently,therearethreemainwaysofon-linemonitoringtechniqueforgalloping:thefirstistoachievemonitoringofthegallopingthroughvideocapturetechnology;thesecondisthroughaccelerationsensors;additionally,throughtensionsensors,anglesensorsandothermonitor
7、ingdevices,wecanalsousetherelationshipbetweenchangesinlengthandintensionoftheconductor(i.e.lengthmethod)togettheconductorgallopingamplitude,whichismoreeconomicalandfeasiblebecauseofthemonitoringdevicesinstalledatbothendsofthetransmissionline.Therefore,bas
