5、duringtheproductionandinstallationprocess,threetypicaldefectmodelsin10kVXLPEcablejointaredesinged,usingthefiniteelementanalysismethod.Thedefect’Sposition,size,shapeandappliedvoltagearedeterminedonthebasisofresultsofsimulation.UHFpartialdischargedetectionsystemisestablished,andthe
6、widthofcapacitancecoupledsensorisdeterminedbycontrastexperimerit.UHFsignalsfromPDofthreetypicalmodelsaredectectedintheexperimentsystem.ThenthepropagationcharacteristicofUHFsignalsareanalysed.PatternrecognitionofUHFpartialdischargesignalsisconfirmedaccordingtoexperimentdataofthree
