2、ntrol,anddoesnotrelyonbasestations,ithasabroadapplicationprospectandhasbeensubjecttoacademicandindustrialattention.MediaaccesscontrolprotocoliSusedtocoordinatenodestoaccessthesharedchannelandreducesconflicts,SOitisakeytechnologytoadhocnetwork.ExistingMACprotocolsl
3、ikeIEEE802.11iswidelyusedinadhoenetwork,however,802.11willbringabouttheunfaimessofchannelaccess,hiddenterminalandexposedterminalproblems.Manystudieshavetriedtoimprovetheperformanceofadhocnetwork,whereas,theseMACprotocolsusuallyconsideronlyanidealnetworkenvironment
4、,namely,thetosendpacketsobtaintransmitter-receiver’Sid,thenevaluatewhethertheyarewithinthereceiver’Sinterferencerange,thusdeterminewhethersendpacketsornot.Analysisandsimulationshowthat,theproposedprotocolcanpreventthehiddenterminalinthelargeinterferenceareaandalso
5、alleviatetheexposedterminalproblem.Finally,wemakeananalysisoftheinterferenceaccumulationphenomenoninadhocnetworkandproposeaHexagonmodelbasedMACprotoc01.Theprotocoladjuststhetransmissionpowerofreceiver’Sbusytoneaccordingconflictsofdatapacket.Whenreceiverfailsreceiv
6、edatapacket,itwillenhancethebusytonetransmissionpowerenlargeinterferencecontrolradius,SOasreceivedatapacketsuccessfully.Analysisandsimulationshowthat,theprotocolcanimprovetheprobabilityofthereceiverreceivepacketcorrectlyinthecaseofmultipleinterferencesource,andbet
