1、论文摘要从公布第一批历史文化名城以来，我国历史城市保护工作已经走过，二十四年的历程，但是至今仍然缺少对较为发达的区域中心城市的行之有效的保护方法。本论文从重新解读国内外历史城市保护的历程开始，反思现阶段历史城市保护中的不足和若干突出问题，指出历史城市保护的实质在于真实历史信息的有效传递。由此，论文通过借鉴信息学的基本概念和城市规划本身的若干理论，阐述历史信息的传递过程、实质、特征和历史信息传递对历史城市保护的启示，即基于信息传递的历史城市保护方法。保护方法在信息收集和整理的基础上，通过对时间、空间和逻辑三个方向

2、上的分析，确立了历史信息的结构化分析思路，建立历史信息系统，并指出在城市宏观层面、规划至设计层面、设计至空间物质层面以及信息反馈四个层面上历史信息传递的特征，建立了以历史信息的获取、信息的结构化分析、整体性规划、导则编制、信息传递的空间物质化过程以及公众参与六个阶段为主要特征的历史城市保护方法。论文最后，结合杭州历史城市的总体分析和杭州城市设计导则的实证研究，提出了基于历史信息传递的城市设计导则的具体方法及相应措施，并探讨了方法的实践运用和意义。关键词；历史城市，信息传递，保护方法。AbstractThepro
