2、ghtemperature,thetemperaturefieldandfireretardancelimitissolvedbyfiniteelementanalysissoftware.Consequentlyfireretardancepropertiesarerevealed.Whenfoamedaluminumalloyisheatedatahightemperature,thecharacteristicbehaviorisobserved.Becauseoftheadditionofthickeningagentcalciuminthemanu
3、facturingprocess,Foamedaluminumalloythatismanufacturedwithheat-treatablealuminumalloycannotbehardenedbyheattreatment.Itisfoundthattheadditionofcalciumintoaluminumalloysleadstolitledropofhardnessoftheas-castalloy.Withtheincreaseofcalciumadditioninthealuminumalloy,thehardnessafterhea
4、ttreatmentgraduallydecreases.Whenthecontentofcalciuminthealuminumalloyreaches1.2wt%,thehardnessisalmostthesameasthatofas-cast.ThereasonisthatnewcompoundA14Cabyaluminum,copperandcalciumarises,consequentlythecontentofcopperinmatrixisdecreased.Basedontheabovereasons,somecontentofcoppe
5、risaddedintothematrixaluminumalloyusedinmanufacturingheat-treatablefoamedaluminumalloy.Theexperimentsshowthattheadditionofcopperintoaluminumalloythatcontainselementofcalciumcanincreasethehardnessafterheattreatment.Thecoppercontentofmatrixaluminumalloyisincreasedto7wt-%.Thefoamedalu
6、minumalloymanufacturedwithadditionof1.2wt."/thickeningagentcalciumisperfect,butthehardnessafterheattreatmentcannotbeincreased.Whentheadditioncontentofcalciumisdecreasedto0.6wt%,theporosityisreduced,whereasthehardnessafterheattreatmentisdesiredFireretardancelimitisusedtoevaluatethef
