1、型的道德社会和农业社会。桐城谚语折射出多姿多彩的桐城文化，总体上反映了儒家文化和农耕文化在桐城当地的根深蒂固。如重视文化教育和伦理教育、重视勤劳耕作和诚信经商、重视人情往来和人际和谐、重视岁时节日和人生仪礼等，这些方面最能体现桐城人独特的精神风貌，反映了桐城文化中积极向上的一面。其他如重男轻女、随遇而安、笑贫贱老等，反映了桐城文化中封建落后的一面。在传承桐城谚语时，应扬弃其糟粕，吸取其精华，充分发挥桐城谚语在树立民众正确的道德观和价值观、重塑现代人的精神品格、构建和谐社会等方面的积极作用。本篇论文运

2、用现代语言学的理论和方法对桐城谚语的语言特点和文化内涵进行了较为系统的描写和分析。本文写作之前，通过方言实地考察、走访当地民俗专家、阅读县志和当地文化志等多种方式，共搜集到桐城谚语1683条。本文所选用的语料翔实、可靠，有利于分析。2010年元月“桐城谚语"被列为“桐城市第二批非物质文化遗产名录"，桐城市文化馆正组织人力准备编著《桐城谚语》一书。本人希望通过这篇论文的写作，为家乡的文化建设尽一份绵薄之力。关键词：桐城谚语语言特点文化内涵ⅡAbstractProverb，knownastheflowe
