2、twerealsodiscussed.ItisindicatedthatthePPTAhaslonglength、fuzziness、strongrigidity、badfibercohesion、highspecificresistance、statictendencyatspinningprocessandpoorspinnability.ButthePPl’Ahashi曲strengthandwearability;cottonhasgoodfibercohesionandspinnability,butpoorfiberlengthuniformi
3、ty.TospinPPTA/eottoninsixblendingratios,strandingtheblendingyamswerewovenandthenflameretardantfinished,andtheperformancetested.Theresultsindicatethatthemechanicalpropertiesofblendedthreadsaregood,astheincreasingofblendingrationofPmthestrengthandbreakingelongationofblendedthreadsar
4、einducedandyamhairinessisreduce;withtheincreasingofblendingratioofPPTAthemechanicalpropertiesofblendedfabricsareinduced,thechangeissimilarwithlawoftheyarns.KES.FhandletestingshowedthatasthedecreasingofblendingratioofPmthestiffnessofblendedfabricsarereduced,butthesmoothnessandfulln
5、essincreasedwiththeblendratioofPPTAfiberdecrease.ResultsfromVerticalFlammabilityTestandLOIexperimentsindicatedthatastheincreasingoftheblendingratioofthePP,I’A,tIleLOIofblendedfabricswhichbeforetheflame.retardantfinishingareincreased,butit’SalsolowerthanpurePPTAfabrics.Aftercombust
6、ion,alltypesofBlendedfabrichasslightlyshrink、smallburnedareaandsturdycharringlayeronsurfaces.Aftertheflameretardantfinishing,theLOIofblendsfabricsisimprovedmarkedly,Theflameretardantkeepsgettingbetterafterwashingflameretardantfinishedblendedfabrics30times,Thedamagelength、durationo
7、faRerglowanddurationofafterflamearegraduallydecreased,AlltypesoffinishingblendedfabrichasCoking、strongcarbonizedlayersandslightlyshrunk.TheThermogravimetry(TG)showedthattheheatstabilityofblendingfabricsisincreasedwiththeincreasedofblendingratioofPPTA,ThemorecontentofPPTAtheblendin
