2、iallyadaptedfordangerousareaslikemilitarybattlefieldandpollutedenvironment.Atthesametime,thereispotentialpracticalvalueinmanyimportantareassuchasbiomedical,smarthome,urbantransportation,andspaceexploration.Inthispaper,linearwirelesssensornetworksdatacollectionstrategiesarestudi
3、edfortheapplicationsoftransportation,border,pipeline,etc.Twoimportantpartsamongthemare:(1)Researchonquickdatacollectionstrategy.Thatis,howtominimizethetimeneededtotransmitdatafromallorsomesensornodestothecollectionpointcalledasconvergecast;(2)Researchonbalancedenergyconsumption
4、ofnodes.Thatis,howtoselectthenodehopstobalancethenetworkenergyconsumptionandmaximizenetworklifetime.First,thispaperstudieslinearsensornetworkswhereeachnodegeneratesdataequallyinaninformation.gatheringperiod.Basedontypicalsensornetworkparameters,mainlyanalyzestheformulaofnodeene
5、rgyconsumptioningeneralk.hopnetworkintheory,obtainsthevalueofwhichmaximizethenetworklifetimeingeneralk.hopnetwork.Onthisbasis,aschedulingalgorithmTDMAingeneralk.hopnetworkisproposed,aswellastheupperboundofrequiredtimeslot.Thetheoreticalanalysisandnumericalsimulationresultsverif
