4、lbenefits.Distributionnetworkpowerflowisstudiedinthispaper.Afteranalyzingpowerflowalgorithms,afastloadflowalgorithmbasedonsecondordertermisproposed.Makinguseofthefactthattheloadflowequationsareasetofquadraticalgebraiconewhenexpressedbyrectangularcoordin
5、ates,first,thederivedalgorithmusestheTaylorseriesexpansiontotransformtheloadflowequationstoaquadraticmatrixequation.Then,theThismethodhasbeentestedonIEEE33-busdistributionsystem,andthesimulationresultshasshownthattheproposedmethodissimple,fast,andwouldb
6、eappliedforon-lineimplementation.Introductionofdistributedgenerationsimpactsthestructureandoperationofdistributionnetwork.Tosolvethisproblem,thispaperproposesanonlinearoptimizationmethodforoptimalplacementofdistributedgenerationstorealizethemaximalvalue
7、ofthedistributedgenerations.Theoptimallocationofdistributedgenerationswasdeterminedbyorderofthesensitivitiesofnodepowerlossesrespectivetonodalloads.Theproposedmethodtooktheminimizationofactivepowerlossofdistributionnetworkasoptimizationobjectivetoconstr
