2、vitableandcomplexproblem,whichhasmanyinfluentialfactors,SOmorcandmoreinvestigationsareneededinthedetailresearchesofheattransferandfoulingperformance.Frommassbalanceintheinvestigation,thispaperusesVon—Karmananalogytopredictthefoulingperformanceandnumeric
3、allystudytheeffectonheattransferenhancementandfoulingofeachmainparameterinhelicallyfibbedtubes,whichCanbeusedtooptimizethedesignofhelicallyribbedtubegenerallyandbroadenitsfurtherapplications.Resultsareasfollows:(1)Thenumericalanalysisofheattransferandpr
4、essuredropforturbulentflowineighthelicallyribbedtubeswith15.54mminsidediameterhasbeenperformed.Theturbulentmodelisselectedcarefullyandtheeffectof鲥dindependenceisextensivelyexamined.Thecomputationalresultsmatchwellwiththeexperimentaldatatovalidatetheaccu
5、racyofthenumericalmodel.(2)ThefoulingmodelisestablishedbasedonKern—SeatonmassbalancemodelandVon-Karmananalogy.Combinedwithnumericalmodel,heattransfereffectandfoulingperformanceonthehelicalsurfacecallbeobtained.Bycomparingtheresultswithexperimentalfoulin
