2、有访问互联网，获取电子邮件的功能。尤其是Compaq的基于WindowsCE的PDA产品PocketPC，提供了完整的电子邮件解决方案。目前，嵌入式Linux以其特有的开放性以及与生具来的网络特性在嵌入式领域备受关注，毫无疑问，它将成为嵌入式操作系统的主流之一。为之开发相关的互联网应用，使得基于嵌入式Linux的PDA等嵌入式产品具有访问互联网的功能，是促进嵌入式Linux发展的重要因素。本文首先对基于Linux的邮件客户端软件进行了介绍，阐述了设计与实现该软件的技术难点。通过对台式机以及PDA上邮件客户端软件的分析，结合嵌入式软件设计的特点，设计实现了适合于嵌入式设备的邮
