2、usrollingexploitationofhydropowerenergy,continuouslyincreaseofeachbasincascadereservoirsmakestheoptimaloperationofcascadereservoirsmoreandmorecomplex.Thetraditionaloptimizationtheoriesandapproachescannotsatisfythedemandsofjointoptimaloperationofcascaderes
3、ervoirs,soitisurgenttostudynewoptimaltheoriesandapproaches.Thesearebackgroundofthisthesis.Firstly,mid/longtermoptimaloperationmodels,methodsandconstraintsofcascadereservoirsareintroduced.Themathematicalmodelsareestablishedandtheconstraintsarepreprocessedt
4、ofastentheconvergencerates.ThenanewHybridDEPSOalgorithmisproposedtosolvethemodel,anditisappliedtotheoptimaloperationproblemsoftheThreeGorgescascadestations.ResultsshowthatDEPSO,withrapidconvergencerate,caneffectivelyhandlethecomplexconstraints,soitisaneff
5、icientandstablealgorithmformid/longtermoptimaloperationofcascadereservoirs.Secondly,accordingtomulti-objectiveproblemsofthejointoptimaloperationofcascadereservoirs,amaturemulti-objectiveevolutionaryalgorithmNSGA-ⅡisadoptedSeveralimprovementsarepresentedac
6、cordingtopracticalsituation:afixedsizeexternalrepositoryandalocalsearchoperatorbasedoncrowdingdistanceisintroducedtoobtainbetterspreadofsolutionsandbetterconvergence;tofacilitateimplementationforthereservoiroperators,asimplebuteffectivedecision-makingappr
7、oachisused;toimproveefficiencyofNSGA-Ⅱ,aquicksortfactorisadoptedtosortthepopulationaccordingtoeachobjectivefunctionvalueinascendingorderofmagnitude.Then,improvedNSGA-Ⅱissuccessivelyappliedtomulti-objectiveoptimaldispatchofoperatingThreeGorgescascadehydrop
