3、ogramsarethefactorstobeconsideredwhenmobiledevicesaredoingsynchronization.Additionally,thelimitedcomputingpowerandstoragespacearecrucialtosynchronizationprotocoldesign.Consequently,efficientdatasynchronizationprotocolsareparticularlyimportantinthenetworksetting.Amonganumber
4、ofpopularandrepresentativesynchronizationprotocols,CharacteristicPolynomialInterpolationSynchronization(CPISync)performswellregardingthefiveaspectsofscalabilityperformanceforsynchronizationprotocols.CPISyncisbasedonanalgebraicsolutiontotheproblemofsynchronizingtwosimilarset
5、sofdata.Thecommunicationalcomplexityofthisschemeonlydependsonthenumberofdifferencesbetweenthetwosynchronizingsets,andisessentiallyindependentoftheoverallnumberofelementsinthesets.However,itsweaknessincomputationalcomplexitylimitsitsnetworkapplications.Wepresentanovelalgorit
6、hmnamedImproved-CPISync,whichisbasedonthesetpartitionscheme,toimproveCPISync.Thisapproachrecursivelypartitionsthedatasets,whichreducesthecubiccomputationalcomplexityandkeepsthegoodcommunicationalcomplexityofCPISyncatthesametime.Moreover,weimplementedandtestedImproved-CPISyn
