1、哈尔滨工业大学硕士学位论文AbstractThepulsetubecooler(PTC)isanewtypeofrefrigerator,whichcanmakethecoolpowerbyusingtheprincipleofadiabaticexpanse.UnliketheStirlingorGifford-McMahonrefrigerators,thepulsetubecoolerhasnomovingpartsatthecoldhead.Thelackofcoldmovingpartshasallowedittohavesomeadvantagesoflowmechanic

2、alvibration,highreliability,longlifetime,lowelectromagneticnoiseandsoon,soitisusuallyusedinmanyfields,suchasspacescience,superconductivitytechnology,cryoelectricity,etc.However,itsefficiencyisstilllowerthanthatofthetraditionalcryocoolers,whichisoneofthebarrierstofurtherdevelopmentofthisrefrigera

3、tionmethod.ToinsureacommercialsuccessofthePTCbyreplacementofconventionalcoolersinmostoftheirapplications,itisofmajorimportancetooptimizethePTCandtodemonstrateperformancesandefficienciesascloseaspossibletothoseknownfortheconventionalcryocoolers.Afteradetailedreviewontherecentdevelopmentofthepulse

4、tubecooler,theaimofthecoolingpower7Wat20Kispresented.Thepresentworkfocusesonthefollowingobjects:FirstlyIcalculatetheCoolingpowerofthesingle-stagePTC.IcalculatethetheoreticcoolingpowerbyusingRadebaughenthalpyphasictheory.ThenIsubtractallkindsofenergylossfromthelastresult.SoIgetthegenuinecoolpower

5、ofthesinglestagepulsetubecoolerthatis6.8Wat20K.SecondlyIbuildtheexperimentplatformofthesingle-stagePTC.Theexperimentplatformofthesingle-tagePTCincludesthreepartsofthecoolersystem,themeasuresystemandthevacuumsystem,whichhasadvantagesofhighprecision,agilityoperation,stablecapabilityandsoon.Thisexp

6、erimentplatformisthebaseofgettinggoodresult.LastlyItestthecapabilityofthesinglestagePTC.Iexperimentbychangingtheconditionsofthelongnecktube,thedouble-inlettube,theregenerator’spaddingandthechargingpressure.Afteraseriesofexperiments,IgetthebestresultofthePTC’scapabilitythatthelowestattainableno-l
