5、alinteractiontomeso(andmacro)levelsoforganization,theyconnectthesymbolicwiththematerial,andtheagenticwiththestructural.Twokeyanalyticprinciplesareidentifiedforempiricalresearch,relationalityandduality.Thesearelinkedtonewresearchstrategiesforthestudyofinstitutionsthatdrawonnetworkanalytictechnique
6、s.Twohypothesesaresuggested.(1)Institutionalresilienceisdirectlycorrelatedtotheoveralldegreeofstructurallinkagesthatbridgeacrossdomainsoflevel,meaning,andagency.(2)Institutionalchangeisrelatedtoover-bridging,definedasthesustainedjuxtapositionofmultiplestyleswithinthesameinstitutionalsite.Caseexam
