4、dtoglobalstrategicalliances.Globalstrategicalliancesarestudiedtounderstandthemajorquestionsoftheallianceformationandthelong-termstability.Variousconceptsofthecooperativegametheoryareinvestigatedtofindafeasiblewaytoapplythemtothemodellingofstrategicalliances.Threeexamplesfromliteraturearepres

5、entedinwhichthecooperativegametheoryisappliedtostrategicalliances.Alsoacasestudyisintroducedinwhichtheglobalmobileoperators’alliancesaremodelledascooperativegamesusingthecoresolutionconcept.Theliteratureexamplesandalsothecasestudydemonstratethatthetheoryofcooperativegamescanbeappliedtomodelt

6、heglobalstrategicalliances.Thestabilityandlikelihoodofstrategicalliancescanbeassessedbymodellingthemascooperativegames.Withthismodellingthestabilityofstrategicalliancescanbeassessedintheallianceformation.Alsothebusinessdynamicsandchangesinthebusinessenvironmentcanbetakenintoaccountinordertou
