3、estigatethechangesofproductivityandprofitabilityofTaiwan’sICdesignindustry.Thisstudyfurtheranalyzes,throughtheperformance-matrixmethod,ifICdesignfirmscangivedualattentiontobothproductivityandprofitability.Firstofall,thisstudyemployspaneldatafrom42firmsfrom20
4、02to2006anddevelopsempiricalmodels,proposedbyFäre,Grosskopf,Lindgren,&Roos(FGLR,1989),tocalculatetheMalmquistindexforevaluatingtheproductivityofICdesignindustry.Inaddition,theratesforReturn-On-Invested-Capital(ROIC)areshowedforevaluatingtheprofitability.Fina
