2、tativeacutedietaryexposureassessmentisunnecessary.ii.Chronicexposure.InconductingthechronicdietaryexposureassessmentEPAusedthefoodconsumptiondatafromtheUSDAxx-xxCSFII.Astoresiduelevelsinfood,EPAusedtolerance-levelresiduesand100%croptreated.iii.Cancer.EPAdetermineswhetherquantitativecancerexposur

3、eandriskassessmentsareappropriateforafood-usepesticidebasedontheweightoftheevidencefromcancerstudiesandotherrelevantdata.Ifquantitativecancerriskassessmentisappropriate,cancerriskmaybequantifiedusingalinearornonlinearapproach.Ifsufficientinformationonthecarcinogenicmodeofactionisavailable,athres

4、holdornonlinearapproachisusedandacancerRfDiscalculatedbasedonanearliernoncancerkeyevent.Ifcarcinogenicmodeofactiondataarenotavailable,orifthemodeofactiondatadeterminesamutagenicmodeofaction,adefaultlinearcancerslopefactorapproachisutilized.BasedonthedatasummarizedinUnit,EPAhasconcludedthatbenala

5、xyl-Mshouldbeclassifiedas“LikelytobeCarcinogenictoHumans”andalinearapproachhasbeenusedtoquantifycancerrisk.CancerriskwasquantifiedusingthesameestimatesasdiscussedinUnit,chronicexposure.iv.Anticipatedresidueandpercentcroptreated(PCT)information.EPAdidnotuseanticipatedresidueand/orPCTinformationin

6、thedietaryassessmentforbenalaxyl-M.Tolerancelevelresiduesand/or100%CTwereassumedforallfoodcommodities.2.Dietaryexposurefromdrinkingwater.Anassessmentofresiduesindrinkingwaterisnotrequiredforthisassessmentbecausethereisnodrinkingwaterexposureintheassociatedwiththeestablishmentofanimporttolerance.
