2、odoftime,itmustbechargedviatheproperchargemethod。Variousmethodsareusedtochargerechargeablecells,butPanasonicrecommendsthechargemethodsdescribedbelowtochargeitsnickel-metalhydridebatteries。(1)Rapidchargecurrent:1CmA(rapidchargetemperaturerange:0°Cto40°C)。Inorde
3、rtoexercisepropercontroltostoprapidcharge,itisrecommendedthatbatteriesbechargedatover0.5CmAbutlessthan1CmA.Chargingbatteriesatacurrentinexcessof1CmAmaycausethesafetyventtobeactivatedbyariseintheinternalpressureofthebatteries,therebyresultinginelectrolyteleakag
4、e.Whenthetemperatureofthebatteriesisdetectedbyathermistororothertypeofsensor,andtheirtemperatureisunder0°Corover40°Catthecommencementofthecharge,thentricklecharge,ratherthanrapidcharge,mustbeperformed.Rapidchargeisstoppedwhenanyoneofthevaluesamongthetypesofcon
5、troldescribedin(4),(5),(6),and(11)reachestheprescribedlevel。(2)Allowingahighcurrenttoflowtoexcessivelydischargedordeep-dischargedbatteriesduringchargemaymakeitimpossibletosufficientlyrestorethecapacityofthebatteries。Tochargeexcessivelydischargedordeep-discharg
6、edbatteries,firstallowatricklecurrenttoflow,andthenproceedwiththerapidchargecurrentoncethebatteryvoltagehasrisen。(3)Rapidchargestartvoltage:Approx.0.8V/cellRapidchargetransitionvoltagerestorationcurrent:0.2~0.3CmA。(4)Upperbatteryvoltagelimitcontrol:Approx.1.8V
