2、ityofMissourics学监教授,世界著名的细胞遗传学家,主要从事玉米和果蝇遗传学研究:真核生物调控基因平衡、剂量补偿、基因沉默、着丝粒结构与功能的表观遗传学机理研究,以及人工染色体创建和植物杂种的理论和应用研究,是国际著名的该领域学术权威。在Cell、Science、Nature、NatureGenetics、PNAS和Plantcells等国际著名学术杂志上发表过大量文章。从1994年开始就担任Genetics(遗传学)期刊的副主编,同时担任ThePlantCell、MaizeGeneticsCooperationNewsletter等9个期刊的编
