3、articlesshouldbeasspecifiedofasrecommendedbythemanufacturerandshouldbecheckedbysettlingvolumemeasurementsandmaintainedatthespecifiedconcentrationonadailybasis.Iftheconcentrationisnotmaintainedproperly,testresultscanvarygreatly.2.2Thebathconcentrationshallbemaintainedwithin1.2to2.4mlper100ml

4、ofvehiclefornofluorescentparticlesunlessotherwisespecifiedbytheparticlemanufacturer.2.3BathconcentrationisnormallydeterminedbymeasuringitssettingvolumethroughtheuseofanASTMPear-shapedcentrifugetubewitha1.5-mlstem(0.1-mldivisions)fornonfluorescentsuspensions.Beforesampling,runthesuspensionth

5、roughtherecirculationsystemforatleast30-mintoassurethoroughmixingofallparticleswhichcouldhavesettledonthesumpscreenandalongthesidesorbottomofthetank.Takea100-mLportionofthesuspensionfromthehoseornozzleandallowittosettleforConcentrationofwetmagneticparticlesuspensionsNDE07-08Revision0Date30/

6、04/2017Page4of4approximately30min.Thevolumesettlingoutatthebottomofthetubeisindicativeoftheparticleconcentrationinthebath.Ifthebathconcentrationislowinparticlecontent,addasufficientamountofparticlematerialstoobtainthedesiredconcentration.Ifthesuspensionishighinparticlecontent,addsufficientv
