6、pearedin1988,networkswereusedbyuniversitiesandlargebusinesses.Whenthethirdeditionappearedin1996,computernetworks,especiallytheInternet,hadbecomeadailyrealityformillionsofpeople.Thenewiteminthefourtheditionistherapidgrowthofwirelessnetworkinginmanyforms.
