2、countingstandardstoexpandtheirearnings;Thirdly,thecompaniesthatsufferedconsecutiveperiodsoflossesandthecompaniesthathad“stockholderequitypershare”Justover1RMB,tendedtoinflatetheirearningsorstockholderequitybyexploitingtheassetsimpairmentaccountingstandards.Inaddition,publiccompanies

3、inchinahaveopportunismbehavior—during2005to2007,publiccompaniesinchinaintentlyswitchedbacklossofassetimpairmentthatarerecognizedinthepastaccountingperiods.ThepurposeofpubliccompaniesistoavoidAccountingCriteriaforBusinessEnterprises(2006).Theresultswouldbehelpfultothefinancialmarketr
