3、e-(a)provisionsrelatingtoforeignaffairsinrespectoftheHongKongSpecialAdministrativeRegionwhichareinconsistentwithanynationallawappliedintheHongKongSpecialAdministrativeRegionshallbeconstruedsubjecttothatnationallawandshallbesoconstruedastobeconsistentwiththeinterna

4、tionalrightsandobligationsoftheCentralPeople'sGovernmentofthePeople'sRepublicofChina;(b)provisionsconferringprivilegesontheUnitedKingdomorotherCommonwealthcountriesorterritories,otherthanprovisionsgivingeffecttoreciprocalarrangementsbetweenHongKongandtheUnitedKing

5、domorotherCommonwealthcountriesorterritoriesshallhavenofurthereffect;(c)provisionsrelatingtotherights,exemptionsandobligationsofmilitaryforcesstationedinHongKongbytheUnitedKingdomshall,subjecttotheprovisionsoftheBasicLawandtheGarrisonLawoftheHongKongSpecialAdminis

6、trativeRegionofthePeople'sRepublicofChina,continuetohaveeffectandapplytothemilitaryforcesstationedintheHongKongSpecialAdministrativeRegionbytheCentralPeople'sGovernmentofthePeople'sRepublicofChina;(d)provisionsrelatingtothesuperiorlegalstatusoftheEnglishlanguageas

7、comparedwiththeChineselanguageshallbeconstruedasprovidingthatboththeEnglishandChineselanguagesaretobeofficiallanguages;and(e)provisionsapplyinganyEnglishlawmaycontinuetobeapplicablebyreferencetheretoasatransitionalarrangementpendingtheiramendmentbytheHongKongSpeci

8、alAdministrativeRegionthroughtheLegislaturethereof,providedthattheyarenotprejudicialtothesovereigntyofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaanddonotcontravenethepro
