3、ingismorepurposefulyouarelikelytounderstandbetter.Naturallyyourpredictions/expectationswillnotalwaysbecorrect.Thisdoesnotmatteratallaslongasyourecognizewhentheyarewrong,andwhy.Infactmistakenpredictionscantellyouthesourceofmisunderstandingandhelpyoutoavoidcertain
4、falseassumptions.Predictionispossibleatanumberoflevels.Fromthetitleofthebookyoucanknow/foretellthetopicandthepossiblysomethingaboutthetreatment.Fromthebeginningofthesentences,youcanoftenpredicthowthesentencewillend.Betweentheseextremes,youcanpredictwhatwillhappe
5、nnextinastory,orhowawriterwilldevelop/presenthisargument,orwhatmethodswillbeusedtotestahypothesis.Becausepredictionensuresthereader’sactiveinvolvement,itisworthtraining.Unit2.Educationisnotanend,butameanstoanend.Inotherwords,wedonoteducatechildrenjust/onlyforthe
