4、inters,portablevideogames,TVset-topboxes--thelistgoeson.Demandforembeddedsystemislarge,andisgrowingrapidly.Inordertodelivercorrect-the-first-timeproductswithcomplexsystemrequirementsandtime-to-marketpressure,designverificationisvitalintheembeddedsystemdesignproces
5、s.Apossiblechoiceforverificationistosimulatethesystembeingdesigned.Ifahigh-levelmodelforthesystemisused,simulationisfastbutmaynotbeaccurateenough,withalow-levelmodeltoomuchtimemayberequiredtoachievethedesiredlevelofconfidenceinthequalityoftheevaluation.Sincedebugg
6、ingofrealsystemshastotakeintoaccountthebehaviorofthetargetsystemaswellasitsenvironment,runtimeinformationisextremelyimportant.Therefore,staticanalysiswithsimulationmethodsistooslowandnotsufficient.Andsimulationcannotrevealdeepissuesinrealphysicalsystem.19Ahardware
