5、际电信联盟建议ITU-TG.650(2000)《单模光纤相关参数的定义和试验方法》修订文稿中2.7“偏振模色散的试验方法”和国际电工委员会标准草案IEC61941(1999)《单模光纤偏振模色散的测量方法》(86A/460/CDV)制定的,其主要技术内容实质上等效于这些国际标准的规定。本标准的附录A、附录B都是提示的附录。本标准由信息产业部电信研究院提出并归口。本标准起草单位:信息产业部武汉邮电科学研究院。本标准起草人:陈永诗中华人民共和国通信行业标准单模光纤偏振模色散的试验方法Testmethodsforpolarizationmodedispersionof
6、single-modeopticalfibresVDrr1065-20加1范围本标准规定了单模光纤偏振模色散(PMD)的基准试验方法(RTM)和替代试验方法(ATM),规定了对试验装置、注入条件、测量程序、计算方法、结果的统一要求。本标准适用于对GB/T15972.1中规定的B类未成缆和已成缆单模光纤PMD特性的检验。2引用标准下列标准所包含的条文,通过在本标准中引用而构成为本标准的条文。在标准出版时,所示版本均为有效。所有标准都会被修订,使用本标准的各方应探讨使用下列最新版本的可能性。GBfr15972.1-1998光纤总规范第1部分:总则3定义本标准使用下列
7、定义。3.1偏振模色散(polarizationmodedispersion)偏振模色散是两个正交偏振模之间的差分群时延(DGD),它在数字系统中引起脉冲展宽,在模拟系统中引起信号失真。3.2主偏振态(principalstateofpolarization)对于在给定时间和光频上应用的单模光纤,总存在着两个称之为主偏振态(PSP)的正交偏振态。如果当一准单色光仅激励一个PSP时,不会发生由于PMD引起的脉冲展宽;当一准单色光均匀激励这两个PSP时,将发生由于PMD引起的最大脉冲展宽。光纤输出的PST,是两个正交偏振态。当输入光波频率稍微变化时,输出偏振并不改变
