3、oningforthe“sweetspot”,andthebesthittingspotturnsoutnottobeattheendofthebat.Secondly,basedonthebasicmodelhypothesis,takingthephysicalandmaterialattributesofthebatasparameters,themomentofinertiaandthehighestbattedballspeed(BBS)ofthe“sweetspot”areevaluatedusin
4、gdifferentparametervalues,whichenablesaquantifiedcomparisontobemadeontheperformanceofdifferentbats.ThusfinallyexplainedwhyMajorLeagueBaseballprohibits“corking”andmetalbats.InproblemI,takingtheCOPandtheviberationalnodeastwodecisivefactorsofthe“sweetzone”,mode
5、lsaredevelopedrespectivelytostudythehittingeffectfromtheangleofenergyconversion.Becausethedifferent“sweetspots”decidedbyCOPandtheviberationalnodereflectdifferentformofenergyconversion,the“space-distance”conceptisintroducedandthe“TechniqueforOrderPreferenceby
6、SimilaritytoIdealSolution(TOPSIS)isusedtolocatethe“sweetzone”stepbystep.Andthus,itisprovedthatthe“sweetspot”isnotattheendofthebatfromthetwoanglesofspecificquantitativerelationshipofthehittingeffectsandtheinferenceofenergyconversion.InproblemII,applyingnewphy
7、sicalparametersofacorkedbatintothemodeldevelopedinProblemI,themomentofinertiaandtheBBSofthecorkedbatandtheoriginalwoodbatunderthesameconditionsarecalculated.TheresultshowsthatthecorkingbatreducestheBBSandthecollisionperformanceratherthanenhancingthe“sweetspo
