1、ABSTRACTSuperabsorbentpolymer(SAP)isakindofnewfunctionalpolymericmaterials,whichcanabsorbalargeamountofwaterandtheabsorbedwaterishardlyremovedevenundersomepressure.Beeauseoftheirexcellentproperties,superabsorbentshaveattractedconsiderableinterestandproceededtoresearchfors

2、ciencistsandtechnolohistsandbeenusedinmanyapplicationssuchasagriculture,horticulture,femininenapkins,sanitation,medicineandsoilimprovement.Ligninisrenewable,non·toxicandcommerciallyavailable,whichmakesligninutilizationavaluable.Nowadays,mostligninapplicationsarebasedontec

3、hnicallignins,whicharemostlyseparatedduringpulpingprocess.Mostusefulmaterialsandwaterreseourcescanbewellreusedbytheapplicationofadvancedtreatmenttechnologyforthewastewaterofpulpingandpapermaking.Howeveralargenumberoflignininthewastewaterareusedasasourceoffuel,ordischarged

4、withoutanytreatment,whichcausedconsequentheavywasteofresourcesandseverepollutionofenvironment.So,researchontheutilizationoftechnicalligninisveryimportantandsignificanttotreatwiththewatsewaterfrompapermillandtomakefullutilazationofnaturalresource.Inthispaper,LPAAMisprepare

5、dusingsodiumlignosulfonate(LS-Na),acrylicacid(AA)andacrylamide(AM)asrawmaterials,kaolinasinorganicfiller,potassiumperoxydisulfate(KPS)asinitiator,N,N'-methylene—bis—acrylamide(NMBA)ascross-linker,bysolutionpolymerizationusingorthogonaldesignandsaponificationreaction.Theop

6、timizedformulabasedontheassessmentoftheabsorbenciesindistilledwaterand0.9%NaClsolutionisobtainedasfollows:m(AM):m(AA)=I:1,m(KPS)=1.0%,m(NMBA)=0.1%,pH=3.Thenthesaponificationreactionbasedontheabove.mentionedoptimizedformulasuperabsorbentisusedwithdifferentNaOHsolutionat90℃
