1、StudyontheCulturalSimilaritiesandDifferencesbetweenChineseandWesternFacePerception摘要在中西方文化中，“面子”具有不同的文化特征，是一种可以观察到的社会现象。它在中西方的文化渊源、社会属性、个人意愿方面有不同的体现。中国文化侧重于对积极面子的维护，西方文化侧重于对消极面子的维护。因此，不同的文化可能会导致语用的失误，从而有可能在交际中引起摩擦。本文通过介绍“面子”以及对中西方“面子观”的差异分析，揭示出其差异的内在历史文化渊源及成因，从而指导中西方交往中的语用策略以及日后的跨文化交际。关键词：面子观；积极面子
